Bates Farm is a family-run farm, based in Warrington on the Cheshire-Lancashire border. The Wilshaw family have farmed the area since the 1940s.
We farm over 260 acres of land which is used to feed the animals. On the farm, we have sheep, cattle and turkeys. We pride ourselves in farming produce to the highest quality standards and flying the flag for British agriculture.
More recently, we have diversified the farm to offer family experience days throughout the farming calendar. We love that the farm offers a place of escape from the hustle and bustle of modern life. From lambing experience days, farm tours to pumpkin picking – come and join the fun and get your hands dirty!

Thank you! We always love your turkeys and already looking forward to this year’s. Your drive through collection system was excellent last year – a job well done!
We would also like to congratulate you on all your efforts in providing ‘experiences’ for young and old alike of what, how & when things happen on your farm – another job well done in such challenging times.

Hi. Just to say how lovely and tasty your Turkey was, I dont usually enjoy Turkey but this year I loved it! We had Turkey Christmas day, Turkey supreme the following day and Turkey curry the day after, plus we had sandwiches.
The veg box was fabulous as well, the potatoes made the best roast potatoes I have ever had. The onions were really flavoursome?
Thank you.
