Easter on the farm

Easter on the Farm

Join us for an Easter extravaganza on the farm! The session will be a hands-on, educational experience where you will get to meet and pet the animals.ย

The lambs are now playing out in the field but are still super friendly and in need of a cuddle!

The farm tour will last an hour and there will be plenty of photo opportunities. We will finish with some Easter activities including an egg & spoon race!

To refuel after your farm tour, you can enjoy tea or coffee refreshments outside in the farm fields at your leisure.

Spaces are limited to ensure that you and the animals get the best experience.

We look forward to welcoming Bates Farmโ€™s future farmers!

Lamb Petting

These sessions are organised so that everyone will get the chance to pet the lambs. We know in previous years that groups have been able to bottle feed the orphan lambs, but this year most of the lambs are getting enough milk from their mums. This milk is much better for the lambs and more natural. We are sorry you may not be able to feed the lambs, but we guarantee you wonโ€™t go home without a cuddle!

r

Pregnant Women

we advise that pregnant women do not come to the farm during lambing season. There is a risk that coming into contact with sheep and lambs during pregnancy may cause health complications. You can read more on the Government Website here.

r

Wellies

we recommend wearing wellies or walking bootsโ€ฆ after all youโ€™ve come to a farm!
